Five free open days were offered to students with hearing impairments and any other students who were interested in experiencing the college for a day. The dates were held on weekends – either Saturdays or Sundays so that students would not have to miss school and they ran between November 2008 and January 2009. Fourteen of the attendees were males and 9.5% of the attendees had hearing impairments. Of these, 1 was a male and the rest were females. The students got to work with: Janet Devenish (Deputy Principal) Ballet and Musical Theatre Jonathan Rees (Head of Singing and Musical Theatre team teacher) Musical Theatre vocals Alan Burkitt (Jazz) Jazz and Musical Theatre You can read theirs and all our faculty biographies on our faculty page.
