Dan trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, having first read English Literature at Durham University. As an actor, work includes: ‘Salad Days’ (UK tour); ‘Little Robin Redbreast’ and ‘Moonfleet’ (Salisbury Playhouse); ‘Worst Wedding Ever’ (Salisbury Playhouse, New Wolsey Ipswich, Queens Theatre Hornchurch); ‘Carnaby Street the Musical’ (UK tour); ‘Little Shop of Horrors’, ‘Rope’, ‘Communicating Doors’ and ‘Arsenic and Old Lace’ (Pitlochry Festival Theatre); ‘A Bold Stroke For A Husband’ (Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds); ‘Bubbles’ (Watermill and UK tour); ‘Relatively Speaking’ (Theatre Royal Bath and UK tour). Also various dames and villains in a number of pantomimes around the country. As Musical Supervisor: ‘Spamalot’ (English Theatre Frankfurt). As Musical Director: ‘Salad Days’ (UK tour); ‘Little Robin Redbreast’ (Salisbury Playhouse); ‘The Secret Garden’ (Guildford School of Acting); ‘Saturday Night’ and ‘Assassins’ (London College of Music); ‘Carnaby Street the Musical’ and ‘Carnaby Street the Concert Tour’ (UK tour); ‘Fame’, ‘Disney’s Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘Our House’ (Watersmeet, Rickmansworth); and lots of pantomimes. Dan appeared in both series of ITV’s ‘Popstar to Operastar’.
