Garry has performed in many West End Musicals including Chicago, They’re Playing Our Song, Marilyn, West Side Story, Time, and Starlight Express. He was also part of the premiere cast of Starlight Express in Bochum, Germany. Garry was the Dance Assistant to Arlene Phillips on the Japanese Tour of Starlight Express. He has also performed in many TV shows including The Two Ronnies, The Stanley Baxter Show, Cannon and Ball, Lena Zavaroni, Worzel Gummidge, Little and Large, Only Fools and Horses. He also appeared in the Pirates of Penzance movie with Kevin Klein and Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life.
Garry had the honour of being the Resident and Associate Director of many West End and international shows including the German production of Starlight Express in Bochum, Germany, Starlight Express in London and US National Tour, London and UK touring productions of Fame simultaneously, Fame in Edinburgh, Saturday Night Fever in London and Johannesburg, world premiere of Daddy Cool in London and International Tour premiere which opened in Germany, We Will Rock You UK Tour and International Arena Tour, and Chicago in London. Garry also directed the musical play, FLAMES, and DONE TO DEATH in London, and has staged numerous tv shows and galas including the opening of the famous Potsdamplatz in Berlin at the height of the world premiere of the musical, The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
He has cast and choreographed several commercials for Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK and a short film for the National Television & Film School. He has directed a music video of the group called Enamel, with their single called Killjoy, that has been nominated for the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes.
His qualifications include Level 3 Personal Trainer, Level 2 Fitness Instructor, Level 2 Circuits Instructor, Level 2 Kettlebell Instructor, ETM (Exercise to Music) instructor, Les Mills Instructor in Body Atack, Body Pump and Body Jam, and Level 3 Mat Pilates.
